In this 12 days tour you will discover the South Coast with amazing landscape, glaciers and waterfalls, the Highland with its multicolor mountains and rivers to cross and then the westest point in Europe Látrabjarg . Here you will find some details about places you will see on your self-drive tour around Iceland.
Possibility of changes in the first and the last day, due to time of arrival and departure.
The price tablet below is calculated for 2 persons and 4 persons, depends on the number of persons in your party and which car you choose.

Day 1
Arriving in Keflavík, transferred to your accommodation in Reykjavík.
Day 2
The rental car of your choice will be delivered to your accommodation at 8:00 a clock. You will start your self-drive tour with visiting places like; Seljalandsfoss, Skógar, Dyrhólaey, Reynisdrangar,Vík, Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Overnight staying in Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
Day 3
From Kirkjubæjarklaustur you can visit the national park at Skaftafell and the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón returning to Kirkjubæjarklaustur for overnight staying.
Day 4
In the morning you have the possibility to visit the volcano Laki. After that you will find road F208 and it takes you to Landmannalaugar where you will spend the night in a chalet.
Day 5
This day is dedicated to Landmannalaugar the mountains and the rough landscape of pure nature. Overnight staying in a chalet in Landmannalaugar.
Day 6
Today the Golden Circle, Gullfoss, Geysir and the national park Þingvellir. In the evening you reach Borgarnes, overnight staying in a Guesthouse.
Day 7
From Borgarnes you drive to Stykkishólmur, from there the beautiful coast of Breiðafjörður. In the afternoon you reach Látrabjarg. Overnight staying in a Guesthouse.
Day 8
The day is dedicated to explore the cliff of Látrabjarg, It is Europe's largest bird cliff, 14km long and up to 440m high. Overnight staying in Látrabjarg.
Day 9
Rauðisandur beach is a beautiful place and you have the possibility to see some seals there relaxing in the sand. You will head in the direction of Reykjavík with overnight staying in the area of Búðardalur.
Day 10
Today you will explore the peninsula of Snæfellsnes ongoing to Reykholt, then the waterfall Hraunfossar (lava fall) and Barnafoss. There in the lava fields close by you will find the longest cave in Iceland Surtshellir. In the evening you reach Reykjavik and return the rental car at 21:00 a clock. Overnight staying in Hotel.
Day 11
The day is dedicated to the city Reykjavík at your own leisure, with a possibility of a visit to the blue lagoon. Overnight staying in the same Hotel.
Day 12
Transferred to the Airport in Keflavík for your departure.
